2025 Tehran Intl. Book Fair to be held in Tehran’s Mosalla

The 36th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) is scheduled to take place at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla from May 8 to 18, the book fair's spokesman deputy director has said.

After careful review and examination of the available options, Imam Khomeini Mosalla was chosen as the venue for this year's TIBF, Iran’s primary book trade event, , Ebrahim Heydari explained on Sunday.   

The spokesman continued that the Tehran International Book Fair, as a heritage and a national event, is also in the focus of attention of cultural figures and culture lovers from other countries as well. 

 In addition, it is expected that all institutions and relevant organizations will play active role in organization and holding the event because it bring prosperity and enrichment to the country's culture.

Over the years, Tehran International Book Fair has turned into a landmark book fair in Middle East and Asia after holding dozens of editions in a row.

 Every year in late April, an average of 3,000 domestic and 800 foreign publishers participate in the event.

 The foreign publishers substantially offer their materials in English or Arabic, while titles in French, German, Chinese, Korean or Japanese are also available.

Several of Imam’s published books, and works in digital forms in recent years were presented at the stalls and being widely welcomed by visitors with various specialties.

Dozens of Imam’s works have been translated into Arabic, English, Urdu and several other languages over the past few years. 

Hundreds of publishers form across Iran and several others countries will be taking part in the ongoing exhibition.

The 36nd Tehran Book Fair will wrap up on May 17.
