One night when we were with the Imam, he stated: “An old man had come to see me and said with total confidence that he had dedicated two of his sons in the cause of Islam and today they had brought the body of his third son who was his last remaining son (he was eighteen years old and was martyred in the wal-Fajar 8 Operations) for burial and since he was on his way to the battlefield, he had come to bid farewell to me.” The Imam added: “I was overcome by the statement and courage of this man and so I was determined to kiss his hand. However, because he was on the floor of the courtyard while I was on the upper level, my mouth could not reach to his hand.”
